Venezuela - What a beautiful country.  It is too bad that we must caution visitors and suggest that you do not visit Venezuela until the country becomes safer.  Apparently that won't happen under President Chavez' leadership.

Location: Venezuela is located on the North part of South America.  That is why it is called "The balcony of South America". 
Limits:
Venezuela is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the North, Brazil to the South, Guyana and the Atlantic Ocean to the East, and Colombia to the South West.
Regions Division:
We have divided the country in six big regions: The Andes, The Llanos, Guayana, Islands and Cost Area, Valleys & Highlands, and Cost Mountainous Area.
Population: 
23.203.466 (Year: 1999)
Capital City:   
Caracas, Distrito Federal.
Official Language:    Spanish.
Climate:    Venezuela has only two seasons.  Winter, which we call rainy season, starts on December and ends on April.  Summer, known as dry season, starts on May and ends on November. 
Government: Democracy. (NOW IT IS JUST ANOTHER CUBA!!!)
President: Hugo Chávez Frías. (SADLY)
Currency: Bolívar.
Religion: Catholic.
National symbols: Turpial (Bird), Orquídea (Flower), Araguaney (Tree).
National Dish: Pabellón (White rice, shredded beef, black beans, and fried plantain).
Discovery: In 1498, Cristóbal Colón, on his third voyage arrived to Paria, which he Baptist "Grace Land".  In 1499, he got to Coquivacoa, and it reminded him of his native place of Venice.  "Venezuela" he said, which means "little Venice", and that is how the name of our country came about.
Independence: The independence was achieved on 1821 by Simón Bolívar.
