Press Release: Green Mountain Software offers supercomputer rental and lease program. Effective immediately, clients may rent supercomputer time or lease supercomputer time on one of the worlds fastest supercomputers. Purchasing a supercomputer costs millions of dollars more than most companies can approve in their budgets, plus they don't need one on a fulltime basis. Our Supercomputer Rental program enables customers to use only the processing power they need and for the time period required. For example, when the film industry and gaming industry need to render images, especially 3-D rendering, renting time on the supercomputer can reduce the rendering time to a fraction of the time normally required. The energy industry has the similar requirements with geo rendering. Energy companies can economically rent supercomputer time and and evaluate land data with extraordinary speed. Encoding digital audio and converting audio codecs, gene-sequencing, computational research, simulations, engineering models, life science and genetic algorithms, and so much more can be performed at speeds normally not attainable by researchers. The supercomputer currently has over 14,300 processor cores, 32 TB memory, and 300 TB of storage. Customers do not leave their offices to use our solution.
